Mini Digital Sharpening Angle Gauge

We bought this angle gauge as a tool to demonstrate to our customers what various angles look like when sharpening freehand using a whetstone.

We needed something small and compact so it could easily fit onto most regular sized kitchen knives. Additionally, we knew we would be handling the item with wet hands while we were sharpening, so we needed the product to be somewhat water resistant. This mini digital angle gauge fits all of those requirements: firstly, being magnetic allows it to be easily stuck onto any steel kitchen knife. Its compact width of 36mm also means it would fit on most kitchen knives, even a standard 120mm petty. Furthermore, the USB port for charging is covered with a silicone seal, preventing water entry.

To be clear - the angle gauge is not waterproof, so please do not submerge it in water, but it is okay to handle it with wet hands.

For anyone learning how to sharpen, we think this is a great tool to check your angle while sharpening. And of course, you may use it for anything else that requires an angle gauge, like leveling furniture or paintings.
