As a fourth-generation blacksmith at Tanaka Kama Kogyo, Tanaka-san continues a long-standing tradition of crafting blades entirely in-house - from forging to sharpening -  resulting in knives known for their character, sharpness, and reliability.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nAt its core is Aogami #2 (Blue #2) carbon steel, hardened to around 62–63 HRC, delivering excellent edge retention and a crisp, precise cutting feel.
